Through a workshop held at Parjatan Motel, the District Nutrition Coordination Committee (DNCC) has recently prepared a multi-sector nutrition action plan for 2020-21 in Rangpur District with assistance of eight Upazila Nutrition Coordination Committee (UNCC) under Rangpur district. Deputy Commissioner, Rangpur was present with Dr. Md. Khalilur Rahman, Director General, Bangladesh National Nutrition Council (BNCC) as a chief guest and Dr. Ikhtiar Uddin Khandakar, Director, Health, CARE Bangladesh along with other district officials. After an open discussion with various department heads, the DNCC has approved the District Nutrition Action Plan (2020-21). Joint Action for Nutrition Outcome (JANO) project has assisted in organizing the workshop.
