Shomoshti National Level Private Sector Meet

Shomoshti Project of CARE Bangladesh organized a 'National Level Private Sector Meet' on 28 May 2019 at Six Seasons Hotel, Dhaka. The event was organized to build synergies among the private sector partners who are currently working with the project. A few potential future partners were also present in that event. From CARE Bangladesh Zia Chowdhury, Country Director, Prabodh Devkota, Assistant Country Director-Program, Gias Uddin Talukder, Senior Team Leader-Shomoshti Project and other Shomoshti project staffs attended the event.
Decision takers from GME Agro, ACI Animal Health, Bank Asia, Parmeeda, iFarmer, Lal teer, Pragati Life Insurance and Bengal Meat attended the workshop. All private sector partners shared their experience of working with Shomoshti. They discussed about the challenges they faced while trying to facilitate through M4P approach. Additionally they have shared their experiences on how the private sector has benefitted through positive increase in brand recognition and growth in sales, as result of working with the project.
