CARE Bangladesh distributes the last phase of the emergency relief

CARE Bangladesh distributes the last phase of the emergency relief from START Fund on 30 August in Ghorjan Union of Sirajganj district to 375 households before Eid as a part of the “Monsoon Flood Response 2017” initiative.

Cash of BDT 4000 (USD 50) is distributed to 2000 households in Kurigram and Sirajganj in three phases. On 30 August Zia Chowdhury, Country Director, CARE Bangladesh, NDP (CARE partner) Executive Director Md Alauddin Khan, District Relief and Rehabilitation Officer of Bangladesh Govt. Abdur Rahim, local Union Council Chairman Md. Ramjan Ali and other CARE and partner representatives were present.
