Recently, CARE Bangladesh, with support from the World Food Programme (WFP), organized a vibrant Vegetable Fair under the Green Skills Development (GSD) Project at Camp 21.
The event brought together 900 project participants, who proudly showcased fresh vegetables, seedlings, poultry products, dried mushrooms, and Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices across 15 exhibition stalls. More than an exhibition, the fair connected farmers with market opportunities, promoted nutrition-smart cooking and hygiene practices, and highlighted how climate-smart agriculture is improving household nutrition and livelihoods.
The fair was inaugurated by Mr. Md. Shafiqul Bari, Assistant Camp-in-Charge (ACiC), Camp 21, who appreciated the participants' commitment and the project's contribution to building more resilient communities.
Together, we are growing more than crops we are cultivating resilience, self-reliance, and a healthier, more sustainable future.
